SO IT'S GOING TO REQUIRE A LITTLE MORE COMMUNICATION WITH THE STAFF AND THE BOARD ON HOW WE SPEND THOSE DOLLARS.
UM, SO AGAIN, THESE WOULD BE QUARTERLY WORK SESSIONS, UM, AND THERE'S MANY OPPORTUNITIES THAT WE CAN USE THEM TO PROVIDE INFORMATION, GET FEEDBACK FROM THE BOARD, BUT ALSO AS AN EDUCATIONAL PIECE, VIDOT HAS BEEN VERY SUPPORTIVE.

SO TODAY FOR OUR FIRST SESSION, WE'RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT OUR COMMUNICATION PLAN WITH THE BOARD ON ALL TRANSPORTATION RELATED ITEMS. UM, SMART SCALE, WE HAVE SUBMITTED ALL OF OUR SMART SCALE APPLICATIONS THAT YOU NEED TO NARROW THEM DOWN TO FOUR APPLICATIONS.
SO WE'LL BE LOOKING FOR SOME FEEDBACK FROM THE BOARD MEMBERS ON WHICH FOUR APPLICATIONS WE SHOULD APPLY FOR, UM, AN UPDATE OF ALL THE CURRENT TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS IN THE COUNTY AND FUNDING, AND WHEN THEY MAY OCCUR, UM, CBTA, UH, SORT OF A SPENDING PLAN.
WE NEED TO GET SOME GUIDANCE FROM THE BOARD.
STAFF HAS DEVELOPED WHAT WE THINK SHOULD BE APPROPRIATE ON HOW THAT WE SPEND OUR LOCAL DOLLARS.
UM, NOW THAT WE GET MONEY EACH MONTH, UM, AND THEN ALSO GET SOME, UH, FEEDBACK IF WE HAVE TIME AT THE END ON WHAT THE BOARD WOULD LIKE TO SEE FOR SOME KIDS HAVE COPIES.
SO AUSTIN GOING HAS BEEN OUR TRANSPORTATION MANAGER FOR ABOUT FOUR MONTHS.

UM, THE CETA AND TPO BOTH HAVE A TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE OR A TAC, UH, STAFF RECOMMENDS DOING A SUMMARY EMAIL TO ALL THE BOARD MEMBERS.
UM, AFTER, AFTER BOTH OF THOSE TAC MEETINGS TO KIND OF PROVIDE A SUMMARY AND THOSE HAPPEN PRIOR TO THOSE POLICY BOARD MEETINGS, THE FIRST OF THOSE EMAILS DIDN'T GO OUT AFTER THE MAY TAC MEETINGS.

THERE IS VIRTUALLY NO BENEFIT TODAY BECAUSE THERE'S NO ONE ON THE ROAD YOU CAN'T BENEFIT.

SO IT'S, IT'S REALLY AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROJECT.
